Horses For Sale

Upon returning to MSU to continue my education, I have decided to sell some of my horses...  this has been a tough decision for me because I have traveled such distances to find those with very quiet, willing dispositions.  They all have nice conformation, pedigrees, and willing attitudes.  Please call Kelly at 269 503 1679 if you have any questions or would like to schedule a viewing.  Thanks for looking!

Zipman's Little Hemi (PtHA) is a three year old gelding. He is an extremely friendly little guy, about 13 hands tall, and is the first one to come running to you out in the pasture.  He is not broke to ride yet but is mature enough to do so now.  He is current on vaccinations and deworming, he is easy to handle, loads into the trailer easily, and enjoys any kind of attention.  He will make a nice youth mount after he's trained.  We are asking $350 for him.

Sparty is an April 2007 colt.  He wasn't handled at all when we got him from my friend, so he's still shy.  He is a quick learner though and was coming along nicely at tying and leading before I left for college.  He does do better with daily handling.  He is current on vaccinations and deworming.  He has a very nice, muscular build, a strong back, front end, and hindquarter.  He does carry the dun gene and has a dorsal stripe, black liner on his ears, and a diluted coat.  His mane is black and white striped.  His sire is a 56" dun foundation bred paint stallion, and his dam is a 48" haflinger cross mare.  Both have very quiet, easy going dispositions.  This little guy will make a really nice youth mount someday after he's trained!  I can have him gelded upon request.  Asking $200.

Cookie is a four year old pony that's been trained to drive, about 45" tall.  She is extremely friendly, nicely put together, and easy to handle.  She would make a very nice riding pony with a little work.  She has been running with a pony stallion so could be bred for '09.  SOLD!

Ginger is a 13 year old pony that is trained to ride and drive.  She has the best manners and is very friendly.  She is safe for anyone to handle or ride.  My son was able to ride her alone when he was three years old!  She is blind but her abilities and disposition are worth their weight in gold!  Healthy, only needs a non-electrice fence. Not for sale.

Lucy is a 10 year old IAHA registered (half quarter horse/half arab) mare.  She was broke as a four year old and ridden for a couple years, then just used as a broodmare.  She is very friendly and easy to handle and produces gorgeous foals.  Hasn't been ridden in a long time so needs a refresher course but has a lot of potential.  Only asking $400
