Our Other Animals...

These are our Llamas, Herman and Flossy.  They are great animals for protecting sheep and goat herds.  Their curiosity of strange things deters predators.  Most predators like a "chase" and it isn't typical for llamas to run from strange animals.  Instead, they have to go "check them out!"  FOR SALE, $200 for the pair!!!

This is Daizy, a Boer/Nubian cross doe that milks like a cow!  She was actually nursing Chocolate, a bull calf, and producing milk for her doeling that we were bottle feeding.  Goats truly are an asset to any farm!  F.Y.I.  Goats milk is "universal."  The fat globules in it are smaller and easier to digest than any other kind of milk.  Often goats' milk is used for people that are lactose intolerant and for infant humans that are born premature and have a fragile digestive tract.  Goats milk can be used to feed most species of animals.

We plan to offer a few sheep for sale in the future.  At this time we are breeding them on extremely small scale.  I have not yet decided whether we'll be adding to our small sheep herd or not...  let me know if you have any interest in lambs.  UPDATE: Lambo gave birth to a single boy and Zambo gave birth to twins, boy and girl, on 1/17/08.  The babies are for sale for $75 each, they are black and white.  The adults are SOLD.

These girls are our two mammoth donkeys, we also have a standard spotted jack yearling (photos soon to come).  They are nice and easy to handle. BOTH ARE SOLD!!!
